💙 Giving Back Through Our Gift of Time – May 2026
At Banner, we believe that businesses have a responsibility to make a positive difference in the communities around them.
That’s why every colleague has the opportunity to take a Gift of Time day, allowing them to support causes that matter to them and give back to their local communities.
Here are just a few of the fantastic ways our colleagues spent their Gift of Time in May:
✨ Nina from Peterborough volunteered with her Cub Scout group, taking 30 Cubs on a memorable trip to Paris and Disneyland Paris, where she was also recognised with her 15 Year Service Award for her dedication as a Cub Team Leader.
🥫 Our Trowbridge colleagues supported Storehouse Foodbank, helping to sort and label food ready for distribution to local families and individuals in need.
🐑 The team also volunteered at Coppershell Sanctuary, helping to maintain fields, clear land and support the growth of 800 newly planted trees, creating a better environment for rescued animals.
🐾 Alishba from our Tunbridge Wells store spent her Gift of Time with Last Chance Animal Rescue, supporting their work rescuing and rehoming animals.
🍽️ Hugh from Tunbridge Wells volunteered at Charlie’s Angels Kitchens, helping to prepare and serve meals to members of the local community.
We’re incredibly proud of the passion, generosity and commitment our colleagues continue to show through the Gift of Time programme. Every hour given helps create a positive impact and strengthens the communities we serve.
